Funding programs

The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) is the licensing authority for the funding programs in the field of road freight transport, cycle transport, local public transport model projects, climate-friendly commercial vehicles and infrastructure (KsNI), to equip motor vehicles with turning assistance systems (AAS) and for private investors to promote truck parking spaces.

The Federal Mobility Forum

The Federal Mobility Forum is an institution of the Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (Bundesamt für Logistik und Mobilität, BALM). The establishment of the Federal Mobility Forum is a part of the National Cycling Plan 3.0. The Federal Mobility Forum is meant to support the objective “Bicycle Nation Germany in 2030” as an agency of professional expertise in the field of planning and promoting bicycle traffic. Based upon a comprehensive knowledge basis, the staff of the Federal Mobility Forum proactively shape the transfer of knowledge and support the promotion of cycling.
